Podcast: Caos en la Cancha

It has been a while since I started listening to podcasts. For me, it all started with Serial, but after finishing the series, I started looking for what I really love: sports.

For someone who loves women’s sports, discovering new athletes, and learning about new sports, there is great content in US podcasts (like Laughter Permitted and Just Women’s Sports). However, they do not usually cover sports I am interested in, such as field hockey or tennis. They tend to focus on US or European athletes and leagues.

A couple of weeks ago, a friend recommended me a podcast: “Caos en la cancha”. This podcast is everything I was looking for and what I thought I would never find. Two Peruvian ladies talk about women’s sports and explain in Spanish how several sports work around the globe.

If you have not checked this podcast out yet and you are really interested in women’s sports (and understand Spanish), this is the perfect podcast for you. They comment about several games, they recommend different tournaments and players to watch, share relevant information about teams and athletes, and they explain the basics of several leagues around the world. Little by little, they have been adjusting their content, and I think this is the perfect podcast for any women’s sports fan.
