About Me
Sports Management Professional
I am Alexandra, an economist with a Master's in Sports Industry Management who has worked four years in sporting goods and who has been part of several international and local sporting events. My experience in retail has provided me with a set of skills that goes from being very analytical, detail-oriented, and good at communicating with different departments within the same organization. I had the opportunity to grow in the same company. I started as an intern, then I became part of the demand planning team, participated in several sales meetings as a product manager, and became a demand planner and Key Account Manager for Nike's most important account in Peru. My sports career started working in the equipment department at Georgetown University. I took part in the Special Events team at Citi Open and flew back to Peru to start as Head of Operations for the FIFA U-17 World Cup. I have been part of other sporting events: Mexican Open (tennis), NWSL (women’s football), FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015, Lima Challenger, Coupe Banque Nationale (tennis).
